Billing:
From 1st January 2023 Dr Hodgson will be privately billing all new patients. This includes patients newly registering at the practice, as well as patients who wish to transfer their care to Dr Hodgson from other doctors within the practice. Patients of other doctors in the practice, who are not prior regular patients of Dr Hodgson, will be privately billed. This includes patients seen as a “one off” while their usual GP is on leave or unavailable, as well as patients wishing to transfer their care to Dr Hodgson. Those patients with concession cards will receive the discount as explained above. New patients who are concession card holders, including both pension card holders and health card holders, will be privately billed but will receive a discount on the standard charge.
Children under 5 years will continue to be bulk billed.
Existing regular patients will be treated on an individual basis.
